TECHNOLOGY: NEED OR LUXURY?
Nowadays technology rules the whole world; it is a struggle among the companies to create the best devices ever. I remember when I was a child, I did not have a cell phone or a computer because it was not necessary at all in those days, the Internet was not popular and the touch screen technology was unknown.
At this time here in the US smart phones are really a need, especially for young and business people. There are many applications really useful like maps, dictionaries, e-mails, bank accounts, forecast, etc.
In my case I use my smart phone to check the weather, news, to look for something on the Internet and also I like the music applications, GPS, Facebook and of course to keep communicating through calls and texts.
Many tests have revealed that cell phones cause damage for us due they emit radioactive waves to our bodies and this could cause cancer.
Psychologists say that these devices can influence behavior too and I believe everyone knows that is harmful to the eyes sitting for a long time in front of the computer.
Nevertheless, it seems to be difficult for us to quit, even though we know how bad it is for our health, the use of technology is indispensable in our lives and it is increasing more and more each day.
I support the use of the technology, this has brought us unimaginable things and an infinitive knowledge, and otherwise this world would be boring and simple.
If we use technology responsibly, I am pretty sure that would be possible to decrease the damages to our bodies.
Keep in mind that it is important not to focus only on this, but also spend time with our families and people close to us.
