Meet Jeremy Lin at Taoyuan international airport
August 26,2012 was a special day. Jeremy Lin came to Taiwan on that day. And that time is my last day stay in Taiwan. I decided to go to Taoyuan international airport to meet him. I took bus from Taipei to Taoyuan . it took me 2 hours. That makes me tired but it can’t affect my excited mood.
I arrived to airport at 6:00 PM. Jeremy Lin will arrive at 9:45. I need waiting for about 4 hours. But it’s ok for me maybe I can get a good place to meet him. But when I enter the hall so many people already wait in there. Journalist and fans occupy the whole hall. Everyone hold camera waiting for Jeremy Lin. Some crazy fans use Jeremy Lin’s cartoon images making fan cookies flag and coloured balloon. They want send these gift to Jeremy Lin and tell him how much they love him. I just take one Jeremy Lin’s jersey . I want to get his signature. If I want to get his signature I must to get a good location that can touch him. But the journalist already occupy all vantage point that can see Jeremy Lin clearly. During this time a journalist rise her microphone towards me and the camera aim at me. She asks me several questions. But I am so nervous. In the end I just told her I can not answer any questions. I don’t want become a crazy fans.
The time is nearly 9:45. Everyone is exiting and nervous. Some crazy fans prepared some slogan for Jeremy Lin. 10:00 Jeremy Lin wears white T-shirt appears in our view. More people protect him we can’t close him. The cream from the fans are full of the hall. They even forgot their slogan and gift. But Jeremy Lin doesn’t stop his step to take picture to his fans. He just appears 3 minutes. It makes a little depress. But at least I saw him. He is still a miracle in my heart.
