There were couple things that why I missed my hometown a lot. Shanghai was the place where I was borned. I have been living for sixteen years, and it was the biggest city in China. It was always crowed in Shanghai because a lot of people who came from different cities trying to get a job right there.
The most important thing was about my family. My father went back to China when he came to the United States two years later, so I tried to go back to visit him once a year. He was the most important person in my life because I met with many setbacks when I first came to the United States, he was always be my side whenever I needed and shared the sorrows. Everytime he got so excited to prepare everything before I landed. His homemade food was my favoite as well.
The second thing about I missing my hometown was my best friends in my high school. I got two best friends when I was in 10th grade in China. They were outgoing and lively .They added a unique color to my high school life. We did a lot of crazy things during that time because we lived at school for two years. We were staying together 24 hours everyday, slept at the same bad, skipped classes to go to KTV and so on. After they noticed I had to go abroad, they got very sad. We still kept in touch even though we were far away, and nothing changed between us.
The last thing was about shopping. There were so many shopping malls in China and each one looked different. The building was fantastic, and they made different styles during the holidays. I would like to spend more time to shop in China more than in the United States because of they had too many nice looking appearance and precious material and beautiful color clothes.
As soon as I got vacations, I would buy tickets to go back to China. There were always a lot of fun things I could do right there.
