Taking CPR Class

Filed under: ESL Students' Writings — yezhen @ 21:04

Last Saturday I take my CPR class. After the class I really think CPR is very important in our life. It is an emergency procedure which is performed in an accident such as cardiac arrest drowning. Sometimes if we know how to do CPR we can rescue a person’s life.
When I work in hospital I already see more people died due to rescue late. If their family members know how to perform CPR they can get more chance to live. And more cases remind us to study CPR through true ways. A young girl find an old person in cardiac arrest lying on the side of the road. She wants to rescue him and then she performs CPR for the old person. She does chest compressions and provide breaths but we just listen to another sound from the chest, the rib is fractured and the broken rib impale the man’s lung to lead pneumothorax. In the end the old person died also. We don’t know he died of pneumothorax or cardiac arrest but I think we still pay attention to our action. To study CPR in order to rescue more person’s life if we do that we are responsible for the people. A life is in your hand please treat it seriously.
During this process I can’t complete it perfect. Because I can’t do effective respirations for my client. If the oxygen doesn’t into the brain and heart to delay tissue death that perform will be ineffective. I will practice and take more exercise to improve my respirations in order to rescue more people.
