Dating Customs
Dating customs vary from country to country. In some countries, it is not common for teenagers to date while in others it is very common. In your country are teenagers allowed to have boyfriends and girlfriends? If yes, at what age do people start dating? In your country, do people of different ethnic or religious backgrounds date? In your country is it okay for a girl to ask a boy for a date? Do parents help decide who a person is going to date? What are the typical things people do when they go on a date? How is dating different between here and the U.S.?
In our countries, it is not common for teenagers to date while in others it is very common. In my country teenagers are not allowed to have boyfriends and girlfriends. But not everybody will follow the rule. Some
people start dating at 15-18.In my country it is okay for a girl to ask a boy for a date. Sometimes parents help decide who a person is going to date.
They are sometimes the same. The diefferent is that in U.S they kiss so fast.

In my country teenagers are allowed to have boyfriends and girlfriends. People start dating at age of 13, I think. In your country, they do not care about the different ethnic or religious backgrounds cause they date the one they like and want to go with, so the different ethnic or religious backgrounds do not matter. In your country is okay for a girl to ask a boy for a date cause everyone can ask everyone for a date event the person that older but it depent on the one that you ask that he/she want to go date with you or not. Parents did not help to decide who a person is going to date with that is the past that parents are decide to who that their kids have to marry to. The typical things that people do when they go on a date is kide of same thing in U.S. just go to movie, dinner, walk from there to there, just simple things.

In Korea, teenagers usually have boyfriend or girlfriend. So when they dating, they wear as best as they can. That’s an individual differences. Some of people wear school uniform, and some other wear couple look, or simple dress, etc. Usually they start dating at middle school or high school. And Korea is a racially homogeneous nation, so we don’t have many ethnic problems. And also religious, almost people doesn’t have prejudice of that. And we have some of days for confess to boy of girl friend, like Valentine or Rose day, so it doesn’t matter who ask for date. And some of teenagers’ parents know who is their kids’ boy or girlfriend, so they may be teach theirl children about that. I think it’s similar than U.S, but we have more behavior. Because in the school, we don’t do many express of love.

In my country the teenager are allowed to have boyfriend and girl friend, some country it doesn’t are allowed but i dont thing thats ok well in my country becuse some families wont to choice the boy friend or girlfriend for their childrens because or hey wont more money or becuase they thing the person who his children choice its not ok. It’s almost the same in the USA but here the girls sometimes start to out more little then the mexican girls, well someones in Mexico are like that but not everyone. In M exico the girls start to out with hers boyfriend like at the 14 or 15 years but here i thing at 12 or 13 and that is normal and it doesnt have anything wrong but is something different. Other countries have different idea of that and their religion and culture its so different and that is in their culture and its normal to choice somebody for their children.

In my country the girlfriends and boy friends it is is usually because is how has a good friend and everybody have a girlfriends and boyfriends in the school in Mexico the special day of the love is in February 14 is the san valentin day this is a special day for the gays and because they express your love with flowers and casndys o werever and is very similar here I think so but is special day

In my country teenagers are allowed to have boyfriends. People start of age 11.fodating .we have one day to confess to the people whatg do you fill.like when i have a girl friend we going to the movie.Usually they start dating at middle school or high school

In Costa Rica the teenagers have girlfriend and boyfriend , sometimes the parents help decide who a person is going to date. The people start dating at age of 12, in my country the religious dosen’t have perjuce of that.

In my country you can have boyfriend and girlfriend but do you need experience, you can having but you need fight for you girl, the date is very differen because you need to see the movie but she like go to whacth movies i get experience for girl and for other things in my country school you cannot have boyfriend and girlfriend because you need study and the teacher say you you can not have boyfriend and girlfriend.

Usually teenagers have boyfriend and girlfriend in Korea. I think Almost country are have boyfriend and girlfriend. Korean dating is simple. They go to theaters, go to P.C. Rooms, go to beauty shop, and play in school.
Some adult look this not good, These days, Many adult are look this interesting.

In our country teenager usually have more boyfriend or girlfriend. But the action don’t allow. Usually they strat dating at 14-18. They parent don’t allow to their dating. Only after school they can go home together. thought all person don’t allow to their. But they develop so fast.

In korea, teenagers have boyfriends or girlfriends that is freedom. Every age can dating our country, but some adult think that too young gilrs and boys dating is not good.
Many teenager have boyfriends or girlfriends and they enjoy their dating.
They go restaurant, amuseumpark, moving theater or ect. They like that they do date and show other person.

In Cambodia, teenagers are allowed to have boy/girl friends, but this just happen now. In the past, dating was not allowed for for girl and boy before married. I think this is not a good custom cause sometime we have to know eachother before we decide to live with eachother. In my country the girl are usually not the first person who will confess their mind to the partners. I hope one day we will have the same situation between girl and boy. And other way , the way girl or boy dating here are not as a morden style as in US, maybe just a friends .. hhaaha

Hi.everybody. I live in Japan. In Japan, it is very common for teenagers to date.Almost all adults don’t tell teenagers not to date . As far as I know , some people start dating at the age of ten . In my country , people usually don’t concern about the difference of ethnic and religion.And a girl is allowed to ask a boy to date.But many girls seem to want boys to ask them to date.Usually , when people date, they enjoy shopping , sightseeing , drinking and stuff like that.
I don’t know how the american dates , so I have no idea about the difference between in Japan and in US.

Every country has different traditions and habits and customs.I know very well only about Russia.In Russia the young people are not restricted with hard conventions.If the girl likes the boy,they can have the date in any age.But you must understand the level this dating:it is the friendship between two children,but not friendship between two enough adult teenagers.For the friendship of the young people is not important the religion,ethic etc.But wenn the question appears about the family ,about the marrige,about the wedding,Wife and husband,the parents can say their last word.The parents can permit or not permit this wedding or friendship.Sometimes the problem is so sharp,that the girl and the boy can make their own decision and begin to live together without the parent’s permission.But our modern life in Russia gives the teenagers the opportunities for the love’s relationships before the wedding and beginning regular family life.I don’t know it is good or not good.I want only to pay your attention on one problem,wenn the young people start to have not only the friendly relationship,but the sex life.But I would remind you about the responsibility.If you have sex with girl or boy and than this girl will be pregnant,who will be father and mother this new child.Where can the girl or the boy take the money for the surviving new live.And we can see very interest situation,wenn the girl and the boy are ready for very good sex life,but not ready for the surviving,supporting each other,dont have the wish for the overcoming the difficult situations.It’s very big problem modern zivilization .How to decide it ,I don’t know.And you young people? Do you know?

Well i am 15 i am in England but i come from Gambia in the africa my mum says im not allowed to date untill i am 18 .. i dont know if it is normal or not i get on with my education and i do fancy boys but wouldnt dare tell my mum that, i do think its unfair that im not allowed to but my best friend and all my friends are .. What should i do??
