Thoughts on the First Semester
You have just completed the first semester of the 2006-2007 school year. Take a minute to check your grades on edline. How do you feel about the grades you received? What classes were the most difficult for you? What did you do well this past semester? What do you want to improve this semester? How do you think you can do better in the classes that gave you problems?
i did like bad cuz i did not study for the test that why i did bad i thing i got a C so yah but in the other class i did relly bad cuz i just dont do not thing so i need to study more to pass all the test so yah so im going to my best now so yah but in computer class i did got a good gade

I’ll keep practicing to improve my grades in this semester. In first semester, science class was the most difficult class for me, and I did well in math. So I must study for science. Maybe I can study science by memorize vocabularies, understand science terms, note what teacher said, and view what we did in class, such as what I needed. In English classes, I’ll study my grammer notes, and read more books. That’s my important classes to me so I must find better way to study it. In math, I got good grade but I did some mistake, so I’ll study it by do some practice problms after school except homework, try hard one which I couldn’t do at last time, and have exact understand about it. And last one, my P.E. class, I’ll do more exercises, especially volleyball. However, I’ll keep practice to improve myself, and be prudent in new semester.

the past semester was very interesting, because it was my first semester in high school. I think that almost all my grades are good. I was working ward this last semester. my classes are not very difficult, some are a little hard, like science and and sometimes algebra. they are kind of difficult because the vocabulary. in science almost everythin is scientific. and they use really hard words. i think that i did the best this past semester. but i think that i can do the things better this next semester, like study more, do all my works, put atencion in all my classes. copy more notes, study the notes and many other things. i hope to be the same or better in the next semester, i’m going to gork hard!!…

I got bad grade. I didn’t study this semester. but, I will study this year. I have been 4 months. and I will understand english very perfectly, I will get A+~~
and do homework every day, and I will study science more.
and I feel so good.

the first semester for was cool because is my fist time that I come here and my all teachers speak english and is something new for my and in the first semester I liked but in my first grades I dont liked because in algebra and history I failed and is bad so I think what I need more work for get on good califications in this second semester and my classes in the fist semester I was cool and more in english with miss caples and science with miss kron so these is my favorites classes andthe another classes is good but my favorites classes is english and science and I think this second semester I need work more in my all classes.

I got a bad grade. I am very sad. I don’t I should see. Only see, I don’t study in this semester. My different class is history and chemistry. because it has so many new words in the class. My English class got a B+. I am very sad. In next semester, I can study very hard.

I spent here only 2months and all classes were not good. But I do my best. Especially, I worried about my science test but it was not bed.
I was very nervous before I saw my grades but It’s okay, now.
My grade was better than my thoughts.
I want to my second semester better than my first semester. I hope my test grades, my school lives and everythings will better. I think I need more reading and speaking skills. I think if the test grade was good, it wasn’t all about my study. Because It is just a letter like A, B, C …
I want to next semester both my grades and my English skills will good. And I will do my best for study.

I FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY GRADES BUT I DON’T LIKE F AND MY GRADES I NEED TO GET GOOD GRADES FOR THIS SEMESTER IN THE FIRST SEMESTER I HAVE LITTER PROBLEM ABOUT THE ENGLISH. MY DIFFICULT CLASS WAS MATH AND SCIENCE I HAVE I LITTLER PROBLEMS BECAUSE THIS CLASS IS VERY HARD FOR ME I LIKE BUT IS TO MUCH HARD I NNED HELP AND MATH IS VERY HARD BUT I HAVE I FRIEND HE HELP ME AND HE IS A GOOD FRIEND. I DO WELL MY OTHER CLASS COMPUTER, PE, WR AND RD, ENGLISH THIS IS EASY CLASS BUT I HAVE MANY HARD THING.
IN THIS SEMESTER I GONNA TO DOING ALL MY HOMEWORK AND ALL MY CLASS MORE IN MATH AND SCIENCE. WENT A DOING ALL THIS I DON’T HAVE A LOT PROBLEMS FOR THE TEST.

The first semester was very horrible for me because I got two B’s for all over my grade. I am feel kind of dissapointed of myself because i was studying so hard for those tests, I only had 3-4 hours to sleep per day for that week. The classes that I got B’s are World History and Earth Science, those classes were not hard at all but I think that I didnt unferstand the questions what it is ask for. For this semester i will study hard and harder to get to the point that i wanted.

I have just completed the first semester of the 2006-2007 school year. And I’am really excited. I check my grade on edline. It’s not really good.
Because it’s my first year of school. I got some A, a lot of B, the worst is
c. i think the most diffcult class is science. I want to improve mt science grade in this semester. I will study harder after scholl and always ask the teacher. I think my science is better now. because I can understand what she said in the class. So I will get A at this semester.

In these first two months I’m not happy with my grade in physical science because I didn ‘t study so I will study more the next semester ,I will review my notes I will take more notes in the class and I think i have a language barrier and i need to learn first english to have good grades and i hope to learn more english in the next semester and i will do my best.

IN THESE FIRST SEMESTER I THINK THAT I AM DOING BETTER BECAUSE I CAN UNDERSTAND MORE ENGLISHE BUT IS HARD WHEN I NEED TO WRITE BECAUSE I CANNOT WRITE PERFECT AND SOME TIMES THE PEOPLE OR TEACHERS DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANT TO WRITE BUT I KNOW THAT I WILL DO MY BEST IN SOME SUBJECTS I THINK THAT I WILL NOT HAVE GOOD GRADES. THE SUBJECT THAT IS MORE HARD FOR ME IS WRITING AND ENGLSH BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW WHEN I NEED TO PUT THE PUNTUATION AND CAPITALIZATION.SOME TIMES I DON’T FEEL GOOD WHEN I DON’T KNOW HOW TO TELL SOMETHING OR WHEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND ANY WORD MY MOM TELLS ME THAT I NEED MORE ATENTION .WHEN THE PEOPLE TELL ME SOMETHING AND I KNOW THAT I CAN DO THAT I LIKE THE SCHOOL BUT SOMTIMES I DON’T FEEL GOOD BECAUSE I FEEL THAT I DON’T LEARN ANYTHING BUT WHEN I REMEMBER EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW AND EVERYTHING THAT I LEARN IN MY TWO YEARS AND SIX MONTHS I KNOW THAT I CAN LEARN MORE AND IMPROVE MY GRADES.

I did well in science and math class. Beacause in these classes there are indian teacher.So i understand them very well. And whenever i don’t understand very well
in english. So they tell or understand me in indian languege.And i was exited also there.

i like my class because i knwo more english but on language art
i dont like because is very difficult for me but i made good grades bucause
i doe my homework and my teacher help me and i like my math clas
because i knwo and i think thise year i am leanr mor english and i need
to studi on science because i dont have good grades i need to do my
homework and studi i wont to past to do nex year and i need to learn mor english whif my teacher ms maria and ms kenedy
