Maria: Why did you wake me up, Mike? Now I can't fall back to sleep.
Mike: I'm sorry, Maria. I needed to know where you put the iron. I had no
choice.
Maria: What time is it?
Mike: It's seven o'clock. What time do you have to be in class?
Maria: At ten o'clock. It's still pretty early for me.
Mike: Look on the bright side. Now you could say good-bye to me before I go to
work.
Maria: I wish I were still asleep.
Mike: Do you want some cereal?
Maria: What kind of cereal do we have?
Mike: Granola.
Maria: Do we have anymore oatmeal? I know I bought some last week.
Mike: Let me check for you. Yes, we do.
Maria: Do you mind making me a hot bowl of oatmeal?
Mike: No, I don't mind at all.
(Mike pours half a cup of oatmeal into a microwavable bowl. He grabs the milk
from the fridge and pours a cup of it in the bowl of oatmeal. He finishes it
off by sprinkling a teaspoon of cinnamon. He then places the bowl inside the
microwave and puts it in for three minutes. When it finishes heating, Mike serves
the bowl of oatmeal to Maria.)
Maria: Thank you, honey. You're so sweet.
Mike: Not as sweet as this oatmeal will taste.
(Maria puts a spoonful of oatmeal into her mouth and then grins at Mike.)
Maria: Nope, you're sweeter.
