Mike: Why, hello there, Janet. How have you been?
Janet: Mike … where is your shirt?
(Mike looks down at himself and remembers he had not fully changed after he has showered.)
Mike: It's … It was really hot, so I decided to take it off.
Janet: But it's only ten o'clock in the morning. The sun isn't even fully out yet.
Mike: Good point. Please come inside while I go put a shirt on.
(Mike escorts Janet inside to the living room and heads into the bedroom to put on a shirt. He comes back to the living room, where Janet is now sitting.)
Mike: That's better. I hope I didn't offend you.
(Janet answers Mike by not answering him.)
Janet: Where's Maria? Is she home?
Mike: Yes, she is. She's just... in the restroom. She'll be out in a minute. Can I get you anything to drink? Some juice, maybe?
Janet: Water will do.
Mike: One glass of water coming right up.
(Mike gives Janet a glass of water from the kitchen. Maria comes out of the restroom and into the living room.)
Maria: Mother! How have you been? It's so good to see you.
Janet: I've been good, dear. How are you?
(Maria and Janet hug each other.)
Maria: How long are you staying?
Janet: For the whole weekend.
Mike: Oh, goody.
