Maria: I'm sure it's nothing to be worried about. It probably just needs a simple tune up.

Mike: Yeah, you're probably right.

Maria: What made you think that there might be something wrong with your car?

Mike: I heard an odd noise coming from the engine that I had never heard before.

Maria: It's best to have that looked at now. Come back soon. Alright, honey?

Mike: Alright, honey. See you when I get back.

(Mike drives to the mechanic. The mechanic spends a half hour checking the car.)

Mechanic: You do have a nice car.

Mike: Why, thank you. I hope there's nothing wrong with it.

Mechanic: Actually, there is a minor problem. But it's nothing I can't fix.

Mike: What's the problem, and what caused it?

Mechanic: It's an engine problem. These kinds of cars are bound to run into engine trouble one way or the other. It has nothing to do with your driving.

Mike: I see. How much is this going to cost me?

Mechanic: About five hundred. You're also going to have to leave it here for a couple of days. Is that okay with you?

Mike: If it means fixing my car, then, by all means, yes.

Mechanic: Mike, you have nothing to worry about. I assure you your car is in the best of hands. You'll see, it will come out of here even better than before.

Mike: Thank you for that. I'd better call my fiancee, so she can come pick me up.
